superstition

This work was lead on from the cant sleep work,  The idea of what should be but is ‘nt.  Supersitions, If you see a lady bird its ment to bring you good luck, and if one lands on you count its spots and thats how many kids you ll have, Below are apple stem and I twist the stem off and record, the letter, and I plan to make an average of the letter to find the the first letter of the name of the man that I may/ may not marry

 

Cant sleep

 

This work comes from a spout of imzomina, I wanted to use the details from fairy tales, The princess surrounded by byres and the princess kept up by a pea under her bed ( theres more of that to come)  So this is work in progress and I’m not sure where it will go to be honest, Just-kinda using the symbols from fairy tales, to make work about not being able to sleep ….

Dream

So, I had this dream, where this folded bit of paper, or one very like it  got me a show in TBG&S, then my dream went into montage mode and I made a series of folded bits of paper in the shape of worshipers to the music of Fat boy slim “praise you”

I made it just in case
